Behaviour of the Drever
This small hunter is a happy and agile dog, with a balanced behaviour.
It is a pleasant companion for children and adults alike.
It generally gets along quite well with other dogs, but sometimes a small period of adjustment may be necessary.
It easily learns the basic education rules and it likes to please, but as any hound, the Drever can be stubborn when it decides to use its nose; at this time, and while the scent is the most important thing for the dog, it “forgets” its training.
