I am special since brith. Due to the distance between the d’Alpetratínia Kennel and the Terceira Island (it isn’t exactly easy to go there whenever you feel like) I was chosen through a photo at birth, so my tail would not get cut. As this colour things seems to be a bit complicated, imagine Cara and João Silvino’s surprise when they go pick me up at the airport, when I was 2 months old, and instead of a black and white puppy, they receive a much paler puppy! But I soon got darker again!

I adjusted very well to life here at the farm. As I grew up in the middle of the Estrela Mountain Dogs, my attitude seems to be distant, I like to keep watch at a distance… but I don’t miss a thing that goes on anywhere in the farm. No one moves without me seeing it.

But of course this distance is just for show. Some time ago, João Silvino, Carla and a friend decided to go for a long walk. Carla was taking Lupiini, our friend André was taking my brother Risco and João Silvino had me and Adágio. Well, after about 100 m, they realized that who I really like is Carla, and I only want to follow her. I may have grown up with both of them, but I do know whose passion are the Barbados!...

And if they liked me before, since I had my litter all I hear are compliments! :-) Not only because my puppies are really cute (with their family, what else would you expect?!),  but also becuase everyone thinks I am an extraordinary mom. Why? Just because I love puppies so much I not only take care of mine but also help Sheila and Faia d'Alpetratinia (Smooth-haired Estrela Mountain Dog) to take care of their babies. Natural, no?!
